🔥 Cascadia Prescribed Burn Association – Fall Burn Opportunity
Location: Chelan County
Planned Dates: October 16 (pending weather and burn ban status)
⚠️ Note: Chelan County currently has a burn ban in effect until October 15th. The burn will occur during the first suitable weather window after that date.
📅 How to Participate
Register for the event to receive notifications and planning updates.
After registering, you’ll receive a short survey about which days (Oct 16–19) you’re available.
The final burn day will be chosen based on weather conditions and participant availability.

🧰 What to Bring
Natural fiber long-sleeve shirt and pants or FR-rated clothing (no synthetics)
Leather boots with heavy soles
Leather gloves
Eye protection
Two water bottles
N95 mask
The PBA has extra clothing and gear available if needed.

All experience levels and ages are welcome!
There will be hands-on learning opportunities and a range of roles—from observation to active participation in ignition and operations.
