​The Chelan Douglas Land Trust in partnership with Cascadia PBA is hosting a community pile burning event on their MTN Home (Leavenworth) property this coming weekend.

Thinning and burning piles are key steps in reducing hazardous fuel loads in the process of restoring healthy, fire-resilient forests. After completing an 80-acre thinning project on their Mountain Home property near Leavenworth, the Chelan Douglas Land Trust is hosting a community pile burning event to safely dispose of 8 acres of hand piles.
